the main factors affecting the performance of aluminum honeycomb panels
1. Aluminum decorative panel
Aluminum honeycomb decorative panels are generally selected as 3003, 5005 and other brands, and 1100 plates with low alloy composition are rarely used. The decorative surface adopts spraying or roller coating, and the coating is polyester or fluorocarbon paint. It is best to use sprayed panels for exterior wall panels, and three coatings or more are required, and the thickness of the paint layer is ≥40μm, so as to ensure the durability of the coating.
The aluminum plate needs to undergo strict surface anodization before painting to ensure sufficient coating adhesion and bonding strength with the honeycomb core. The panel coating should meet the requirements of the national standard YS/T429.2-2000.
2. Aluminum back plate
The aluminum honeycomb backplane should be made of the same material as the panel, and the surface should be anodized. The side exposed to the air should be coated with a protective coating. The coating material can be polyester, epoxy, acrylic and other materials to prevent Long-term exposure to the air causes corrosion of the aluminum plate.
3. Aluminum honeycomb core material
The aluminum honeycomb core material is processed and manufactured on the aluminum honeycomb core production line by aluminum foil and special honeycomb node glue. The factors affecting the performance of honeycomb core materials mainly include parameters such as aluminum foil, node glue and honeycomb core specifications.
3.1 Aluminum foil
The aluminum foil should be 3003 grade, and the processing should be strictly surface treated. In products with high strength or durability requirements, the honeycomb core material made of 1100 pure aluminum foil should be used with caution.
3.2 Node glue
The node glue should be epoxy modified high temperature curing glue, which can not only provide sufficient bonding strength but also has excellent environmental resistance and high and low temperature resistance. Common adhesives tend to degummed the honeycomb core due to their low strength, causing overall damage and instability.
The node strength of the honeycomb core is the main basis for evaluating its performance, and its node strength data should be ≥2.0N/mm.

3.3 Honeycomb core specifications
The specifications of the aluminum honeycomb core are determined by the thickness of the aluminum foil and the size of the honeycomb cell. Different specifications of aluminum honeycombs have different densities and different mechanical properties, and there are also large differences in their cost.
The honeycomb core specifications can be expressed in two ways: the diameter of the inscribed circle of the honeycomb cell (in British units) and the thickness of the aluminum foil/cell side (metric units). my country's national standard is expressed in terms of the thickness of the aluminum foil/cell side length.
